Tor Coatings has been supplying protective coatings for commercial pitched roofs, gutters and internal walls for over forty years. Unicover has been developed as a cost effective means of extending the life of walls, external cladding and tackling cut edge corrosion, whilst beautifully transforming its appearance in the process.
Each system in our Unicover cladding coatings range can be applied as a standalone decorative finish and offers building proprietors and specifiers a cost effective and robust solution for the refurbishment, decoration and protection of walls and cladding.
The Unicover systems allows you to maintain many types of pitch roof including Plastisol, PVF2, Asbestos cement and many other metal profiled materials. The range offers a number of options from simple re-decoration, cut edge corrosion treatment up to and including a full waterproofing system. The Unicover topcoats are on a full tinting system and we stock RAL9006 silver in the Unicover Ultra S system.
Cut edge corrosion occurs where the uncoated edges of coil-coated Plastisol sheets have been exposed to weathering. To combat this, Unicover’s EdgeProtect system has been developed to provide a cost-effective means of tackling cut edge corrosion by sealing and safeguarding corroded edges.
The Unicover W system provides a tough, durable and attractive surface finish for internal walls. The system can be applied to a multitude of internal surfaces without the need for any primer and can deliver up to 10 years of performance in solvent sensitive environments. For external walls we have a range of masonry finishes which provide a durable redecoration option including pliolite and elastomeric coating options

Architectural coil coated cladding has been a very popular building material for over 50 years. Products such as PVC Plastisol, PVDF/PVF2 and Silicone Polyester have all been used as protective surface finishes. Due to the natural ageing process, all coil-coated architectural cladding will suffer degradation from UV light from the sun and general weathering. Left unchecked, it will fade and deteriorate to such an extent that replacement may be the only option.
We will assess the overall condition of any existing surfaces or previous coatings and recommends the most cost-effective and suitable solution. Our field experts take into account factors such as adhesion, seasonal temperature, potential priming requirements and even corporate brand colouring.
Unicover will refurbish and protect your buildings exisiting cladding, saving you inconvience and money with guaranteed performance.
